Will a New Bill Protect Young Pennsylvania Drivers?

Will a New Bill Protect Young Pennsylvania Drivers?

Late last month, the Pennsylvania Senate sent a bill to the Governor’s Office that would hopefully better protect young Pennsylvania drivers by making significant changes to teenage driving rules in the state.  Specifically, the bill would limit the number of other teen passengers who could ride in cars with drivers under 18, increase driver’s education hours, and make not wearing a seat belt a primary offense.

Some lawmakers were disappointed that the bill did not contain more stringent distracted driving penalties.

Will this bill help protect 16 and 17 year old drivers in Pennsylvania? Please leave our auto accident injury attorneys a comment and let us know your thoughts.
