Do You Know How to Keep Route 15 Safe in York County?

If you have an opinion to share, or are interested in hearing other opinions, about possible changes to U.S. 15 in York County then officials urge you to attend a very important meeting.

The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on August 18 at Northern High School. People from the Northern York County communities of Dillsburg and Franklinton boroughs and Carroll and Franklin townships are invited to attend.

The meeting comes before a September hearing where officials will decide if the Northern York County Regional Comprehensive Plan Transportation Element Update should be amended to make Route 15 a limited access highway.

Do you think making Route 15 a limited access highway would reduce York County accidents or place an unnecessary burden on travel to and from Maryland? Attend the August 18 meeting and have your say about how best to keep Route 15 safe.
