Pennsylvania Experiences More Labor Day Accidents in 2011 Than in 2010

The news from Labor Day Weekend 2011 was not good on Pennsylvania roads.  Over the long holiday weekend from September 2  – September 5, 2011 there were 783 accidents investigated by the state police.  351 people were injured in those crashes and nine people lost their lives.  The fatalities remained unchanged from last year.   However the number of crashes and the number of people injured both increased.  In 2010, 271 people were injured in 754 Pennsylvania Labor Day accidents.

Additional accidents, injuries, and fatalities may have occurred and been responded to by local police or other authorities.

Our accident injury lawyers extend our condolences to everyone who lost a loved one in a Pennsylvania Labor Day accident and we express our best wishes for a full and complete recovery to everyone who was injured.
